There's been a possible renewed interest in using this blog. So any new visitors, logged in or anon, welcome and I hope you like this comm. Everything is all set up already, so be sure to look at the front page and the directory here. Any comments, questions, suggestions, there's all sorts of ways of contacting me. Anon commenting should be on, and you can contact me via my own journal if you want.

You can use the introduction post as something to mingle in, but later I might add a more general chat post if anyone is interested in that.

Hello there! A lot of these journal sites were the main place for fandom before tumblr, weren't they? I find it easier to discuss here, but I also hope that people can find some help with ideas for the upcoming tumblr events.

Yeah, this could be pretty fun hehe. There's some ideas that I think can be organized here, which I might put into place a bit after the current Rinharu events. Oh, and there's the 30 days of Rin too that people can talk about here too when it gets to that.

this may be a stupid question, but where should we go to discuss the fics we're working on etc?

I think a post should be made about getting ready for rinharuweek. Are you planning on doing anything, how are getting along with your fills etc.

We could check up on each other's progress but what I am really missing is a way to talk out characterization and ideas and such. Having a supportive network when you're writing improves your productivity by the thousand (and your mood!)

^ This was the comment that kicked off the sub-thread that revived interest in this comm, so a post where people can talk about fic ideas and writing is the order of the day. People should be able to do that in a post about creating things for the event, and if it actually gets used perhaps a general writers support post could be made later... (Just throwing out suggestions here.)

Yes, I'll be getting to making that, should be just a moment. Admittedly I'm not a writer, though I would like to try, so if there are some concerns that authors would have, please let me know.

I made this icon last year for tumblr (though I only used it for like a week), too lazy to make more because I hate digging up screencaps and such for graphics

Hmm. Once I'm somewhat free from schoolwork, I might do a screencap dump post for people to use for graphics. Don't hold me to it but I'm considering it!
